St Andrew's Church

We encourage all committed church members to become partners in St Andrew’s by offering their time, talents and finances to the God’s mission and ministry here. God calls us to be generous with what we give, and we do so in gratitude for all that God has done for us. Regular financial giving is one of the spiritual disciplines.

 

St Andrew’s is entirely reliant on the financial gifts of the congregation. We receive no money from the Church of England or from the Diocese of Guildford’s central funds. Apart from a small amount of income raised from the hire of our hall and rooms all our income is given by members of the congregation.

 

There are tax efficient ways to give to St Andrews. Please speak with Alison in the office if you would like to Gift Aid your donations.

 

 

Giving of time and talents

 

We are the body of Christ and equipped with different gifts and skills to be used in God’s service. Everyone has something to contribute and we would love to help you discern what God is calling you into. We want all church members to be using their gifts.

 

Each year on Partnership Sunday we ask existing and new members of the church to offer their gifts and skills as part of their worship. If you would like to get involved and offer your time and talents alongside your financial gifts please speak to our Vicar, Scott.
